Interactive [[architecture]] is about how built structures can adapt in real time to some need, whether that’s by changing the physical space, through digital projections, or by some other means. The changes might be in response to individuals or groups in the building, or to the outside environment. This may include building automation as well as artistic experiences. The core idea here is of a place that adapts to the needs of the inhabitants / users, whether automatically or in response to an expressed preference or need. Question: How might this concept relate to [[Concepts/information architecture|information architecture]]? Learned about this from Allie Katz, an interactive architect who posted on the 3-D printing forum on the Apple Slack on 1-3-24. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interactive_architecture
